We are building a DREAMTRYB. A TRYB that loves music, comedy and breakthroughs. A DREAMTRYB that is taking the LID OFF THE BOX of life, and learning to keep it off freeing our inner NICKSTIR'S and being a contribution for good.

Our Crazy Work includes bringing together a unique Tribe of people. It’s a special TRYB with a never give up mentality that supports each other. DREAMTRYBERS have hope as a secret weapon and belief - there’s always a way. DREAMTRYBERS become DSAs - DREAMTRYB Special Agents. DSAs support DREAMTRYB’S TOP SECRET Mission. It’s all fiction of course, our story. (Just in case the FBI, CSA and MI5 et al are watching :)) Some DREAMTRYBERS choose to simply act as Patrons to enable our work to continue and grow. They help us as we make music, write stories and give insights to help change our world for good. All DREAMTRYBERS have AAA - Access All Areas behind the scenes at LID OFF THE BOX. "Nicky, your life has been a blo**y disaster, but we love you anyway..." so pronounced my late Aunt-in-Law as she sat beside me at dinner. Comedy is truth and pain. There is treasure in misadventure, a comedy writer's goldmine in my journey. For example, I've had a problem with my name 'Nicky' Slater, with my identity, stature and with 'real life' generally. Therapy and Self Help courses cost thousands. Alternative 'Nick Name' personas developed to enable my search for freedom and the courage to step. My parents were Ice Dance Champions - so I was too, entertaining on TV, in arenas, ice rinks and theatres. Trouble is I never chose ice. There was more. Busking in Ipswich, England, in the rain, for £1.05. Ha. So now finally it's time for me to stop hiding out and take the LID OFF THE BOX of my life. It's time to be MAKING CRAZY WORK!

Alongside me is my wife and Co-Founder Christiane, whose beauty, imagery, wisdom, faith, patience and background enrich our offering. When Christiane takes a photograph she sees differently to me. I might see the bicycle, she sees the reflection from the chrome wheel hub of the bicycle. It's a gift. Her 'eye' for detail for proofing is amazing and talents such as Jazz singer and dancer are hopefully to be heard and seen in the future through what I create. Oh yes and she is a saint - my friend said - for putting up with me! But I just think she’s so lucky to have me :) And... I thought she would be my rescuer. I imagined she would take it all on and sort it all out and save me. She refused. It's been a journey - MAN UP - as my friend Terry would say as he swam out to unmoor his boat in freezing lake waters. She is perfect for me. I have to grow up... Leave little Nicky behind! Uncomfortable...
